Time Away gifts whole family respite breaks in donated self catering holiday accommodation to families caring for sick and disabled children.

We give families invaluable time together, away from the pressures of daily life in order to ensure they remain a supportive and cohesive unit capable of providing the care their child needs long into the future.

Do you care for a child (under 18) in receipt of higher rate DLA, PIP or CDP?

A copy of an in-date award letter for higher rate Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Child Disability Payment (CDP in Scotland) is required to access our services.

Is adapted accommodation essential for you to take a break?

Adapted accommodation means homes with things like level access, hoists, or wet rooms built in. If you think you might be able to manage without, select ‘No’.

We hold separate sets of donated homes for younger and older children, so this decides which listings you’ll see.
